ABOUT

I am a physicist with a passion for interdisciplinary problems. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at the University of Calabria, where I lead a research group studying how microorganisms respond to light and how microscale structures can be designed to control light propagation.

I was a postdoctoral researcher at the physics department of the École Normale Supérieure in the Multiscale Physics of Living Systems group. Before that, I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the LKB (in the Complex Media Optics group) and did my PhD at the University of Cambridge (under the supervision of Prof. Vignolini).
